Playing with a toy

It's amazing how quickly Beckett is changing and learning things. Just a couple weeks ago he couldn't pick things up and he hardly noticed his hands, but now he practices every day! He will take toys from us, hold them, and try to stuff them in his mouth. He was very interested in a new toy from Aunt Erin and Uncle Nate; his jirafa. He was doing everything in his power to get it in his mouth.

We sing a song to little Beckett that goes like this, "Happy, then Sad, then Blue Steel". The reason we sing this is because his expressions change so quickly. As I was capturing his interest in his toy on film, I also happened to catch some of his adorable faces. This is his "Happy" look. He also does, "Blue Steel" below:).

The "Blue Steel" look, appropriately named by his daddy.

Beckett Talking to us

Check out this video of Beckett testing his vocal cords. He recently realized he can make as much noise as his mom and dad can! Watch out though, this might make you a little queasy:). Matt's video skills are a little frenetic.

The First Time Beckett Rolled Over!

Today, July 30th is Beckett's 3 month birthday and he decided to celebrate by rolling over! He rolled over for the first time yesterday and then did it 5 more times today! That allowed me to capture it on camera.

This first video is of him rolling over (he rolled both ways from his tummy!):

This video is just cute, but unfortunately I turned it off right before he rolled over...:

He is talking in this video, which we think it adorable:

Golfing - A Late Father's Day Gift

My gift to Matt and my dad for Father's Day was a trip to Edgefield for some golfing. We had a great time, even though it was extremely hot. Baby Beckett enjoyed his time lounging in his stroller with a cold wet cloth on his head.
