September Fun Times

September was another great month with lots of Papa time and beautiful weather. 4th year for Matt's schedule has been a little better so far, and we're hoping it stays that way! We enjoyed ourselves and took Beckett to a number of fun Portland places.

We went out to Sauvie Island and Matt and Beckett rode the "cow train"!

This is little Dewey wearing a fancy outfit:)

Beckett picked out this bunny stuffed animal one day at a kids store and it's now one of his favorites. He packs him around often with his Meerkat animal too and calls them "bubby and meer". It's so adorable.

We take a lot of walks up Twilliger blvd and what flys above it is the amazing Tram. At least Beckett thinks so. He points at it and says bye bye Tram whenever we leave. So, we decided to take him on a ride on the Tram and he loved it!

Beckett loves all things soft, including our kitties tails...

This was a super slide at the farm we went to on Sauvie Island.

One lovely September evening Matt and I went on a twilight kayaking trip. It was so beautiful and serene being out on the river after the sun had set and we only had our headlamps to lead the way.

Angies Wedding

On August 27th, Angie and Ben got married at a beautiful place on the beach and we all got to stay for the weekend. It was at a summer camp right on the beach and we enjoyed hiking, playing on the beach, and even a bon fire with smores! It was a beautiful day and I was happy to be a part of it. Congratulations Angie and Ben!!!

We even got to spend time with Brooke and Harper! That was a fun treat:)

Big Truck Day

One of Beckett's first words was "big truck". He has a love of all big trucks in all shapes and sizes and can identify their sound from long distances. Monday mornings are his favorite because that's when the garbage and recycling trucks come. One beautiful August day, the city of Beaverton hosted "Big Truck Day". We couldn't believe it was true, and of course we attended.

There were big trucks of all kinds. Beckett even got a big truck t-shirt and tatoo!!

This was an ambulence.

Doesn't he look hard core?

August FunTimes

Why can't the summer last forever?? August was also a lovely month, ending with my birthday! We ventured out this month and took a canoeing trip with little Becks, and it was awesome! We also did a lot of hiking, playing in parks and visiting various places to get wet around the city of Portland. Again, photos are out of order, but you'll get the gist, just read along:)!

Here's Grandma (G-ma), Auntie Hayley (Nanna), and the very handsome Baby Beckett in his new shades.

Hiking with papa, Grandma, and Cody.

Heading out for our first canoe trip, all suited up in their life jackets.

Me and my sweet baby along one of our most favorite trails in Forest Park, right here in the city.

I just think this is cute, even though he's crying. He was happy one moment, and then sad the next. It was one hot day and we played in some water, but forgot our change of clothes! He just wants to run now and not ride in the stroller.

Again, forgot our change of clothes after some fun in the water:). So, he had to wear papa's t-shirt!

Here we are out on the water in our canoe. Beckett and I just enjoyed while Matt did all the paddling...

Thank you Matt! You're cute and strong!

Look at these two; have you seen anything cuter? And check out Beckett's platinum hair. Playing at a water fountain along the waterfront.

Love these two:)

Grandma and Cody. So sweet and Beckett's best friends! They joined us for the hike in Forest Park.

See, now he's happy:)

Jamison Park, one of his favs. Collecting other babies toys and running for it...

We've all got our shades on.

Like I said, why can't Summer last forever? The places to go are endless and the days are long and warm. Well, we certainly enjoyed Portland to the fullest this month, even if we couldn't travel!
