More July Fun

July was a wonderful month where we finally had a little more family time. Matt's rural rotation proved not to be too time consuming so we had a lot of fun outings, including a trip to the zoo, a birthday party for Beckett's friend Brady, and berry picking on Sauvie Island. Below are pictures from these events in no particular order, since that's more fun, right?

Above is a picture of Matt and Beckett and the zoo with an Elephant behind them.

This monkey loved Beckett and came right over to the window as we sat down.

These are Beckett's friends from InsideTrack at Brady's birthday party! From left to right: Brady, Gabriel, Aven, and Baby Beckett on top of his balloon!

Here's our little mouse looking for berries.

1 Year Photos

We scheduled our 1 year photos of Beckett when he was actually 13 months old (seen below) and then it took us a while to get them back, so we're finally posting them. Either way, I think they're pretty great. He is one handsome mouse if you ask me:). Do you like how color-coordinated we are? Matt planned it!

4th of July Beach Trip

This 4th of July we went to the beach and stayed at a rental home with my family (Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Hayley and Cody). We had a long weekend full of tons of beach time, playing, and hiking. It was beautiful and warm the whole time. This was Beckett's first time at the beach and he taste tested it all, including this rock he found...

Thank you so much Grandpa (Goompa) and Grandma (Mamma #2) for taking us on this trip and being so generous! We had soooo much fun!

Sand seemed like an appropriate thing to eat the entire weekend. Handfuls of it actually, as soon as mom and dad would look away for one second.

Love you Auntie Hayley (aka Nana)

We went hiking on this amazing trail overlooking the ocean. Beckett had a lovely time looking at flowers. We love this shot. It makes us laugh out loud each time we look at it; what a funny face.

Poor little Becks did manage to catch a cold while we were there unfortunately.

He still hadn't mastered walking fully on his own, so he ran around the beach with his little wagon the whole weekend.

Thank you Grandpa John and Nonna for my stylish outfit! He needed both hands to push so he had to carry his rake in his teeth...

Love you family!
